Choosing Your First Co-Op

Co-op is an incredibly unique opportunity to figure out potential career paths. Once it comes down to actually deciding on where to complete your co-op, there’s a lot to consider. Here are a few questions you can ask yourself when selecting your first marketing co-op:

  • What skills do I want to walk away with? 
  • Will this prepare me for my dream job and/or second co-op?
  • Does the job description (tasks, projects) align with my overall interests?
  • What role does the marketing department play in the company? 
  • How does the company fit into the context of the particular industry and the various trends?
